Lela Williams

(Voiced by Twitch Streamer "Gloskull")

Description: Strong, firm, no nonsense, in favor of the project, Seeks potential in others.

1.(Self-Recording) “The prototype continues to show progress. Unfortunately, quite a few members of the research team are, in my opinion, lacking in efficiency. If I had the opportunity I’d ship most of them off the project and replace them with individuals with less personality and higher standards of work ethic.”

2.(Self-Recording) “Oliver to me seems to be the exception among these “scientists”. He shows exceptional fascination to the project, spending every waking moment working feverishly. He may be hard to hold a conversation with, but he did create the solution to maintaining multiple singularities, so I’ll take it.”

3. (Self-Recording) “The collaboration of these minds has been… “strenuous” to say the least. Unfortunately, it seems having a great capacity for the understandings of astrophysics and engineering also must invariably come with ego. The only one lacking in this trait is Alex, yet he also has no backbone. At least he does what he’s told without questioning my authority here.”

Alex Moore

(Voiced by Joshua Friday)

Description: passive, questionable of project, intelligent, caring, worrisome.

4. (Self-Recording) “The work we’re doing is phenomenal. We’ve always been able to manipulate magnetics for impressive feats among the stars but…. Harnessing the actual power of black holes? This is a dream come true… if only it wasn’t for the wrong reason…”

5. (Self-Recording) “I'm starting to get worried. I’ve been doing some work on my own, looking at the small readings of the black hole and its stasis. The stasis itself isn’t as fool-proof as everyone thinks. Any short electrical failure out here would compromise the stasis chamber itself… However, everyone just laughs me off, or even worse, Oliver calls me an imbecile.”

6.(Self-Recording) “I had to take a break for a bit. James and Desmond actually took time out of their day to come up to me just to tell me that I should have been assigned here as a janitor. So, I went to check on local space readings, just to pass the time and get away from them for a bit. I could be wrong but…. The local star has been showing frenzied activity….. I hope we finish and head out before something bad happens…

James Rice

(Voiced by Grant Whitfield)

Description: level headed, confident of the project and the conflict to come, belittles Alex.

7. (Self-recording) “It’s about time we put those bastards in their place. I know we’re testing the full implications of the prototype for any additional uses, but just a few tweaks and this thing built up to its full scale will put the fear of whatever god they choose in their hearts. Lela says we’re near completion with testing. *chuckle* I say we’re ready for a quick war and a great show…”

8. (Self-Recording) “Lela may be “officially” in charge and heading the project, but I know I could do a better job. Not sure why they would put HER in charge of something so important. I’ll be talking to my father after this project; I will not suffer this indignity again.”

9. (Self-Recording) “Damn Desmond! We were in an argument going over the calibrations of the device and the possibility of relative adhesion to certain objects. I told him why even bother, it’s supposed to eliminate our enemies and that is all that matters. He smacked me and called me and ignorant child! I’ll have this old man’s head after all of this. I shouldn’t be subjected to this behavior. I’m a Rice dammit! I deserve respect!”

Desmond Burke

(Voiced by Anthony Roach)

Description: Old, Grizzled, seen plenty of research projects, doesn’t put up with crap from the younger crew, respects Lela’s take charge attitude.

10. (Self-Recording) “Getting too old for this crap. Between Justin’s antics, Oliver’s incessant “Mad Scientist” persona, and James's self-inflated ego, this station is doomed to make a mistake. Lela, now she's got a good head on her shoulders however. She’s a good, strong woman. Not known to bullshit and able to focus the team on the task at hand. Isn’t too bad on the eyes either. *sigh* If only I was 20 years younger….”

11. (Self-Recording) “Aw hell.....I smacked the Rice boy today. Not sure why they brought him here. I mean sure, he has a basic understanding of what we’re doing, but the boy is clearly entitled. We’re not just making a weapon here. There are so many potential uses for this research, conquest being only one. Luckily the boy has no balls, as he seems... keen on avoiding me now.”

12. (Self-Recording) “I’ve worked on projects like this before. Not of this scale of course, but definitely with the intent to murder people for some sort of empirical gain. Same old business for me. However, it doesn’t take a keen eye to see past the destructive applications of such a device and begin to see practical ones. Just have to remind the team of those possibilities when gathering data.

Justin Chu

(Voiced by Twitch Streamer "GullibleGambit")

Description: Jokester, questionable of project, uses comedy to break up tense moments, can get serious when necessary.

13. (Self-Recording) “I was making calibration to the automated turrets when James walked in, being all high and mighty wearing the “Asshole Crown” as usual…. So, I decided to bring him down a peg. I disabled the firing pins for the turrets and then set James’ clearance to hostile… *chuckle* Man almost shit himself! Was so worth it! When Oliver heard what I’d done, even he couldn’t help himself to a laugh, crazy old bastard.”

14. (Self-Recording) “Lasers, turrets, anti-matter kill floors…. The way they have these “testing” rooms you would swear the designers of this station had some sort of murder fetish. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind seeing a guy getting blown to bits every once in a while because he’s too to tough to look around, but this many traps on a research station sadistic.”

15. (Self-Recording) “These gravity streams are pretty bitchin’. By removing the projectile concept and focusing the gravitational force between two stop generators, we’ve basically created a pretty sweet transit system. However, I’ve modified a few by removing one end cap, effectively creating a launcher. Been practicing with them, tossing all sorts of things into them and watching them fly. Even launched an apple and hit Desmond’s coffee from across the room. He called me an arrogant little shit; I let him know “ten points!”. He still gives me love/hate eyes.”

Oliver WakeField

(Voiced by Jonathan Miller)

Description: Very intelligent, excited about the work being performed, little care to moral implications, entirely focused on project.

16. (Self-Recording) “I thought this “select” group of fools would be different, but even out here, on the fringes of the system, doing work to topple empires...they still have these “rules” ....... these “regulations” ….. these…..”restrictions”… It’s maddening. ..... Cowards, all of them. True progress and innovation comes at the cost of a few broken eggs…. And these coddled eggheads on board are oh so fragile…

17. (Self-Recording) “Why do these idiots insist on hindering their own progress! I keep trying to convince them of altering the singularity to observe the results of tissue damage. That’s why we're here. The weaponization of gravity, itself. The others say it’s too dangerous for testing. Too dangerous! Said we don’t have enough testers, either. I volunteered Alex, the worthless waste of oxygen. They were less than pleased—he’d still be contributing, just… more than he is now. And they call themselves scientists....Cowards, all of them.”

18. (Self-Recording) “Time!!! The fools at the academy said it was impossible. Clearly they’re giving head positions out to children of politicians and prominent families in the empire. I…….well….. The “team”..... Discovered that by applying the polarities together and compressing the mass past a threshold using my calculations, we were able to create a segmented sphere in which the state of time is dilated and slowed….The powers that we are playing with…. It is so delicious!”
